Role overview We’re looking for an Underwriter – Commercial to join our Sydney Underwriting team. Working alongside experienced underwriters, you’ll develop your technical underwriting capability across Financial Lines, General Liability and Accident & Health lines while building strong relationships with brokers and gaining exposure to a broad range of risks. In this role, you will: Manage and service an SME renewal portfolio through the DUAL Webrater, our online tracking platform Build and maintain strong broker relationships through regular engagement and proactive communication Respond to broker enquiries and provide timely underwriting support Develop your underwriting knowledge and technical expertise across multiple product lines Support business development activities through broker outreach and relationship building About you You may currently be a Policy Administrator, Insurance Administrator or Assistant Underwriter with 1-2 years' insurance experience and are looking to progress into a commercial underwriting role.
