At DO & CO, we are looking for a Chef to join our catering team.
Responsibilities
Plan and develop dishes within the assigned area in collaboration with the Head Chef, proposing a variety of alternatives based on professional experience and in accordance with established specifications.
Manage and coordinate Sous Chefs, Chef de Partie staff and cooks, ensuring effective teamwork and the achievement of kitchen objectives.
Foster a strong team spirit by motivating, organising and supporting the kitchen staff.
Ensure that all dishes prepared for plating meet the expected quality, presentation and consistency standards.
Promote safe working practices and implement procedures designed to prevent workplace accidents.
Coordinate orders for each kitchen section and ensure the efficient use of raw materials, minimising food waste.
Supervise the accurate completion of HACCP records by the team, ensuring compliance with food safety procedures.
Ensure that all kitchen areas remain clean, organised and free from expired products, and that all relevant hygiene and food safety standards are consistently met.
More than 5 years of experience performing the responsibilities outlined above.
Experience in providing culinary training and mentoring to kitchen teams.
A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills.
