As a Laboratory Technician you’ll perform high complexity testing procedures required to provide diagnoses for our patients. Conduct both manual assays and automated tests. Determine preliminary diagnosis for review by laboratory leadership. Verify test results against accepted quality control standards; maintain quality assurance and quality control standards as set by the hospital and laboratory. This is a day shift position working 8:00 am-4:00pm including alternate weekends and rotating holidays. Location is our Allen Hospital campus in Upper Manhattan/Inwood. Preferred Criteria Certification as a technician by NCA or ASMT Chemistry and/or Hematology bench experience Required Criteria AAS in Clinical Laboratory, AAS in Medical Technology or a related Health Science NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician License One year training in a clinical laboratory Salary Range: $43.37-$53.26/Hourly It all begins with you.
