Animal husbandry (40%)
- Moving Sheep, Cows, and Chickens
- Perform minor veterinary care
- Feeding and watering
- Movement of temporary fence and other pasture equipment
Egg collection, cleaning, and packaging (10%)
General farm projects (repairs, construction, land maintenance, etc.) (40%)
Cleaning and Minor Servicing of Equipment and Vehicles (10%)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently
- The ability to lift 50+ pounds
- A calm demeanor when working with animals
- Able to performing all tasks in dirty outdoor conditions in all weather
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members
Highly Preferred Skills (but not required):
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- Ability and experience operating a tractor
- Basic skill with hand and power tools
- A working knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance (oil changes, changing air filters etc.)
