We are driven by our passion for excellence and go the extra mile ensuring that every Lindt experience is nothing short of exceptional. Our collective efforts are geared towards making a positive impact, not only in the world of premium chocolate but also in the lives of our employees, customers, and communities. Our company embraces a culture defined by the core values of Excellence, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Responsibility, and Collaboration, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment where these principles drive our success. What To Expect as a Lindtern: Our twelve-week Lindternship program offers hands-on experience allowing undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical skills and contribute to projects that directly impact our business. During the summer, interns will be paired with a mentor, attend professional career development workshops/sessions and attend networking events to meet additional team members. Our Lindternship Program is designed to develop the next generation of leaders who are passionate, curious, and ready to make an impact in the premium chocolate industry. If you’re driven by innovation, inspired by quality, and eager to grow in a collaborative environment, this is the place for you. Based at Lindt USA headquarters in Stratham, New Hampshire, interns and co-ops are expected to work onsite four to five days per week, depending on the role. Position Purpose: The Digital Commerce Retail Media Analytics Intern will support the Digital Commerce team by building a scalable retail media effectiveness dashboard that connects performance data from multiple retailer media networks and commerce data sources. This high-impact role will partner closely with the Retail Media Manager to organize, validate, and visualize campaign performance across Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads, Roundel, Kroger Precision Marketing, Instacart, DoorDash, and potentially additional platforms. The intern will apply data science, analytical, and Power BI skills to identify performance drivers, compare results across retailers, and translate complex data into actionable insights. In partnership with the Digital Commerce Analyst, the intern will incorporate sales and business performance data to develop recommendations that improve media effectiveness and support smarter investment decisions. The ideal candidate is a curious, technically strong problem solver with an interest in digital marketing, retail media, and consumer packaged goods. Build a Power BI retail media effectiveness dashboard that consolidates campaign, media, and commerce performance from multiple data sources into a clear, repeatable reporting solution. Collect, clean, transform, and validate data from Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads, Roundel, Kroger Precision Marketing, Instacart, DoorDash, agency reporting, and other relevant sources. Define and document consistent KPI calculations, data definitions, refresh processes, and quality checks to improve comparability and confidence across retail media networks. Analyze media performance using measures such as spend, impressions, clicks, click-through rate, cost per click, attributed sales, return on ad spend, conversion, and other available platform KPIs. Partner with the Digital Commerce Analyst to connect retail media results with sales, share, traffic, conversion, promotional, and retailer performance insights where data is available. Identify trends, performance drivers, outliers, and optimization opportunities, then translate findings into concise, actionable recommendations for the Retail Media Manager and business partners. Collaborate with Shopper Marketing, Digital Commerce, analytics, and agency partners to gather requirements, reconcile inputs, and ensure the dashboard supports business decision-making. Create user documentation and present the final dashboard, methodology, key insights, and recommended next steps to cross-functional stakeholders. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience: Academic, internship, or project experience working with large datasets, marketing analytics, business analytics, or data visualization. Experience cleaning, joining, and analyzing data from multiple sources to answer a business question or build a reporting solution. Experience developing dashboards or analytical models in Power BI; coursework and portfolio projects are acceptable. Experience with digital marketing, retail media, eCommerce, consumer packaged goods, or advertising measurement is preferred but not required. Skills & Knowledge: Required proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, Power Query, DAX, dashboard development, and data visualization. Strong data science and analytical foundation, with working knowledge of data preparation, exploratory analysis, statistical reasoning, and measurement concepts. Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL and Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is strongly preferred. Ability to translate complex analyses into clear insights, compelling visualizations, and practical business recommendations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, documentation, and reproducible processes. Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple data inputs and stakeholder needs. Curiosity about retail media networks, digital marketing, eCommerce, and omnichannel shopper behavior. Education: Be a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled in an accredited university degree program, preferably in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Other Requirements: Ability to work onsite at Lindt USA headquarters in Stratham, New Hampshire, or in the Satellite office in Boston, Massachusetts, four to five days per week, depending on the role. Ability to complete a twelve-week summer internship and collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners.
