General: The Commercial Lending Technology Intern will be part of the Lending Solution team in the Corporate Technology Services group. This position is responsible for working closely with the team and will participate in weekly intern cohort programming and collaborate with other interns on a group project. Role Description: As the Commercial Lending Technology .Net Developer Intern, you will assist the Lending Solutions Technology team in analysis, development, program design and development, testing, and implementation of banking related systems, with a focus on lending and trading technologies. This internship will be hands on. You will be involved in discussions and processes for multi-million-dollar decisions. A general understanding of lending systems, preparation of documentation, spreadsheets & presentations to enhance executive reporting capabilities are part of the role. Functional Responsibilities: Analysis, design, software development and testing of .NET developments Unit testing, integration testing, support and troubleshooting for the systems under management Documentation Job Knowledge Requirements: .NET architecture and best practices implementation experience Azure DevOps, CI/CD (Cloud) Automated testing tools Familiarity with any or all of these: VB.NET, C#.NET, MS SQL Server/T-SQL, Java script, ASP.NET, SSRS/SSIS, Bootstrap Experience with software installations and configurations; knowledge of web-based applications Experience with Java 8 console applications is a plus Ability to write and test SQL Queries Familiarity with how technology supports the banking/financial services industry Awareness of lending and trading practices Ability to communicate with business users Qualifications: Current students with an expected graduation date of May/June 2027 Preferred majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields Salary: $35/hr Other requirements Mizuho has in place a hybrid working program, with varying opportunities for remote work depending on the nature of the role, needs of your department, as well as local laws and regulatory obligations.
