Duties & Responsibilities: Viavi Solutions Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced technology environment, contributing to the design, development, and testing of innovative electrical systems and components. Responsibilities: Assist senior engineers in the design, simulation, and testing of analog and digital circuits. Support the development and debugging of embedded systems, including hardware and firmware. Conduct laboratory experiments, collect data, and analyze results. Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, schematics, and layouts. Participate in design reviews and provide technical input. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into larger systems. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and existing products. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in electrical engineering. Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements: Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering principles, including circuit theory, digital logic, and analog electronics. Familiarity with circuit design and simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, SPICE). Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C/C++, Python) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
