If your idea of “field work” is more than just showing up with a tape measure and a checklist, we’re already on the same page. You’ve seen it before: jobs where the focus is just “get it done” , no room for precision, no thought for quality, and no pride in the details. At Wisenbaker, we know our work doesn’t just fill a space, it defines it. Every measurement, every layout, every calculation lays the foundation for a finished product that a customer will live with for years. That’s why we’re looking for someone who takes accuracy seriously and sees craftsmanship in the details. We’re looking for a Template Technician. Someone who thrives on being in the field, working with their hands, and making sure every installation starts on the right foot. Your Mission You’ll be the first critical step in turning designs into reality. From templating cabinets and countertops to ensuring measurements are precise, you’ll give our installation teams the clarity they need to deliver flawless results. Your work won’t just guide the build, it will build trust with our customers, support your teammates, and make sure every project is set up to succeed. What You’ll Be Doing (And Loving Every Minute of It): Measuring and templating cabinets, countertops, and window coverings for Wisenbaker customers. Calculating and reporting square footage totals for each order daily. Assisting the Template Manager with routing and reviewing field orders. Supporting teammates and installers when needed to keep projects moving. What We’re Looking For: General knowledge of kitchen design, countertop layouts, cabinet installation, and window applications. Ability to read blueprints is a strong plus. Basic math, square footage calculations, and geometry. Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, problem-solver with a sharp eye for accuracy. At Wisenbaker, we don’t just support the homebuilding industry, we help build it from the ground up. As one of the largest interior finish solutions providers in the country, we partner with top homebuilders to deliver flooring, countertops, and cabinets that turn houses into homes. But we’re more than materials, we’re a people-powered operation where hard work is noticed, growth is real, and leadership actually leads. If you're ready to be part of something built to last, welcome to Wisenbaker. At Wisenbaker, we don’t just support the home building industry, we help build it from the ground up.
