Position Highlights: Join a team of seven Neonatologists and nine NNP's 100% inpatient- neonatal patient's (birth to six months of age) 72-bed Level III NICU Patient volume- 8-16 babies/team (4 total teams) Ebeid Children's NICU unit, some high-risk delivery coverage at Bay Park and occasional NICU transport coverage to outlying hospitals Shift- six days per pay period (every two weeks) Shifts- 7:00a-8:30p (day) and 8:00p- 9:30a (nights), shift hours rotate Holidays/Weekends required No Call Required Highly preferred- 2+ years of experience in Level 3 NICU Neonatal certification required for NP & PA Candidates Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who has completed advanced education and clinical training beyond their initial registered nurse (RN) preparation.
