This position will be hybrid work for candidates who reside in the Des Moines Metro area. Essential Functions: Paid internship working in EMC’s Financial Planning & Analysis department Participates in the financial budgetary process – daily accounts payable and receivables processes Reporting and providing financial analysis to leadership Provides new ideas and improvements to current processes Learns about EMC systems and functions Education & Experience: Completion of freshman or sophomore year preferred Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher preferred Accounting, Finance, Business majors preferred or other related field of studies Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Analytical ability Strong organizational skills Sound decision-making and problem-solving Attention to detail The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $19.50-$23.00 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
