Why does this job exist and why is it critical? The purpose of the Government Account Manager role is to ensure and drive the penetration of Key Accounts and their strategic development. What are you accountable for? Achieve the set financial targets with specific reference to total contract value & billings. Prepare detailed sales strategy outlining the Account Plans, forecasts and pipeline management. Work & engage with internal stakeholders to develop action plans to ensure account strategies are executed upon Accountable for Senior Leadership & C-level engagement strategy to set a strong business foot print in the industry What do you need to have for this role? Experience in managing Government/ Public Sector customers is an added advantage. Understanding of the Value Chain Analysis with regards to various customer businesses. Understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate it as viable appealing market offerings Understanding of business landscape with specific reference to the target market Account Management / Sales Engineer/ Sales Management in at least one of the following areas – ICT system integrators, Telco service providers, technology, engineering, professional service sectors, communications, marketing.
