This will be a key, customer‑facing role at the heart of this mission. Primarily field‑based, you will work hands‑on at customer sites across the UK — with occasional international travel — carrying out service, maintenance, calibration, and verification on a range of metrology equipment. In this role, you will ensure systems operate to the highest standards, meeting ISO 10360‑2/5 requirements and directly supporting Renishaw’s global reputation for metrology excellence, accuracy, and trust. Your work will have a visible impact on customer confidence, product quality, and manufacturing performance. Renishaw will provide comprehensive training and structured on‑the‑job development, enabling you to build the skills and confidence required to work independently in the field. As your experience grows, there is clear potential for progression within the team, offering long‑term career development within a world‑leading engineering organisation. Diagnose causes of verification failures and advise customers on corrective actions. Support installation and commissioning teams where calibration expertise is required (e.g., post‑retrofit verification). Customer Interaction & Support Provide expert guidance on calibration standards, measurement uncertainty, and machine performance. Communicate test results clearly, ensuring customers understand compliance status and any follow‑up recommendations. Deliver on‑site user guidance on maintaining machine performance and environmental best practices. Represent Renishaw professionally, building strong customer relationships and trust. Experience with Renishaw CMM technologies including Equator‑X, REVO‑2, UCCServer, and calibration databases (e.g., QC Gages).
