Project Manager - Sustainability Programs.

REMOTEPEOPLE & OPS

Helprise is an organization that combines global reach with local talent. We work for companies that value quality, partnership, and responsibility, creating teams that really work. By precisely matching skills and business needs, we connect specialists with projects where their knowledge has a real impact. By joining us, you become part of an environment where matching is not a coincidence, but a decision.

Today, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support sustainability-focused initiatives across multiple entities within a complex, international environment. The role combines program delivery, data governance, and stakeholder alignment, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and ESG performance.

YOU WILL

  • Lead and deliver sustainability projects across multiple entities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Manage end-to-end sustainability data reporting processes, including preparation and submission to external authorities
  • Define, track, and deliver KPIs and value plans (e.g., operational value plans and performance targets)
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, with a strong focus on regulatory and compliance exposure
  • Conduct assessments and support the development of sustainability strategies (e.g., water, energy, CO₂ reduction), including defining execution roadmaps and glide paths
  • Drive integration initiatives, aligning different entities with common processes and reporting frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sustainability, Operations, and other key business functions
  • Build alignment among stakeholders, including senior leadership, particularly in complex or ambiguous environments
  • Ensure adherence to sustainability standards, compliance frameworks, and responsible sourcing principles
  • Support continuous improvement and optimization of sustainability processes and reporting practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Project or Program Management within complex, multi-entity environments
  • Demonstrated background in sustainability, ESG, or regulatory-driven initiatives (e.g., CO₂, water, energy management, ESG reporting)
  • Strong understanding of sustainability compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO standards, regulatory requirements, responsible sourcing)
  • Experience managing data-driven processes, including reporting to external regulatory bodies
  • Solid risk management capabilities, particularly in compliance-heavy environments
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable plans
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments
  • Experience in integration or transformation projects is a strong advantage
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is required
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
