You will be instrumental in coordinating our Adult Medical Surgical Residency, facilitating the successful transition of new Registered Nurses into clinical practice. The candidate will also serve a vital role in the coordination and support of our various medical-surgical pipeline programs such as Explorers, Glide, UR Scholars, and career pathways RN/LPN program. This role involves direct engagement with residents, preceptors, and unit leadership. The coordinator will assume some administrative responsibilities in close collaboration with the Assistant Director, Sr Nursing Professional Development Specialist (NPDS), NPD team, and nursing leadership to design and evaluate professional development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in onboarding, competency development, and proven leadership in promoting professional growth. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication are a must. Certification in Medical Surgical nursing and/or Professional development preferred.
