WL: 1C THE ROLE This Senior Scientist on the Research, Design & Innovation (RD&I) team is at the heart of turning bold ice cream ideas into products consumers love, while helping transform how iconic brands like Magnum, Ben & Jerry’s, Breyers, Klondike, Popsicle, Talenti, and Yasso are made. As the Technical Project Lead, you’ll lead high-impact Supply Chain transformation and product development projects from prototype through scale-up, using formulation expertise, experimentation, and creative problem-solving to bring ideas to life. You’ll be the technical connector across R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, and strategic partners, tackling challenges, influencing decisions, and keeping complex projects moving forward. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Lead high-impact technical projects that transform how our ice cream products are made, partnering across RD&I, Supply Chain, Marketing, and other key functions. Manage end-to-end RD&I activities, from product to process to packaging, ensuring all RD&I deliverables are executed across the team on time. Own product development from idea to launch, designing recipes, planning trials, scaling up products, and ensuring solutions deliver against the project brief. Turn technical challenges into solutions by applying formulation expertise, root-cause analysis, experimentation, and creative problem-solving. Become the technical go-to person for your projects, representing RD&I in cross-functional discussions and providing clear product and process guidance. Bring products to life at scale, developing test protocols and leading shelf-life, analytical, prototype, and scale-up activities. Drive technical excellence behind the scenes by leading ingredient specifications, product specifications, and label creation through SAP PLM. Build strong partnerships that get things done, connecting R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, customers, stakeholders, and strategic vendor partners to deliver projects successfully.
