SALARY $17.09 - $21.36 JOB SUMMARY JOB SUMMARY: Under immediate supervision performs preventative maintenance on carts and ensures carts are available for rental. Performs janitorial duties in clubhouse as directed. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform preventative maintenance on carts such as changing flats, checking batteries for water and cleaning carts Maintain necessary records on maintenance performed. Clean carts following each use and make daily inspections of carts for damage. Drive carts to clubhouse for rental and return to cart garage for night storage. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Knowledge of basic electricity Knowledge of small engines Skill in communicating with other city employees and the public Skill in performing routine custodial duties Ability to follow specific oral instructions Ability to perform a variety of physical skills including, but not limited to, carrying, cleaning, kneeling, lifting, seeing and walking Ability to operate a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, golf cart, air compressor, hand tools, power tools and vacuum cleaner Ability to lift or exert forces equivalent to lifting up to 20 pounds; and to push/pull 25 pounds for 5 feet Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environment Ability to operate a motorized vehicle Incumbent is exposed to mechanical, electrical, explosive, fume/odor, dust/mites, and chemical hazards. Qualifying Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED, plus a minimum of six (6) months related experience Valid Texas Driver's License, Class C.
