The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join an established legal practice as a lateral partner, growing and managing your own client portfolio with the backing of dedicated support staff. You will bring an existing book of business and take a leading role in developing new client relationships within a specialized practice area.
What you'll do
- Build and expand a labor and employment law practice with a high degree of autonomy.
- Bring over and continue to develop a portable book of business.
- Advise and represent employer clients on workplace legal matters.
- Pursue business development and cross-selling opportunities across a national network of attorneys.
- Work with associates, paralegals and administrative staff to deliver client work.
- Use the firm's marketing, personal branding and business development resources to raise your visibility in the market.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Around 10 or more years of legal experience, including time at a large law firm or a boutique.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- A portable book of business of approximately $1M.
- An entrepreneurial, driven approach to growing a practice.
- Located in, or willing to relocate to, Fort Lauderdale.

- Base salary: USD 200,000 to 350,000 per year
