Principal Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for inventory accounting transactions, including but not limited to shrink, out of stock inventory movements, in-transit inventory, cost of sales analysis, product and freight receipts analysis, as well as stock ledger maintenance and reporting Responsible for all inventory related reconciliations Oversee other expense categories as assigned, including monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Communicate regularly with other departments on accounting related questions Assist with interim and year-end audits Assist in preparation of financial reports and monthly financial statement review Support the annual budget and forecasting process as needed Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information Consistently arrive promptly to work the assigned schedule Perform all other assigned duties Experience and Skills Required Education: BS or BA, concentration in Accounting CPA or CPA candidate preferred 3+ years of General Ledger experience Inventory/COGS experience is strongly preferred Retail experience a plus Based in Dallas/Ft.
