Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product & Technology Expert with deep expertise in Trade Finance within the Corporate Banking domain. The ideal candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging the gap between Business and Technology teams by driving product enhancements, digital transformation initiatives, and system implementations across Trade Finance solutions.
The successful candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of Trade Finance products, a solid understanding of banking technology platforms, and hands-on experience with international trade operations, SWIFT messaging, and Trade Finance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Product & Technology SME for Trade Finance solutions.
- Collaborate with Corporate Banking business users to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology teams.
- Support the implementation, enhancement, configuration, and optimization of Trade Finance systems.
- Partner with Development, Architecture, Product Management, and Operations teams to deliver business solutions.
- Lead product enhancement initiatives and support digital transformation projects.
- Participate in solution design, UAT, production support, issue analysis, and defect resolution.
- Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements and automation opportunities.
- Support system integration with SWIFT and other banking platforms.
- Ensure compliance with international Trade Finance standards and banking regulations.
- Provide functional guidance and consultation during implementation and upgrade projects.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Trade Finance within Corporate Banking.
- Strong business knowledge of Trade Finance products, including:
- Letters of Credit (LCs)
- Letters of Guarantee (LGs)
- Documentary Collections
- Import & Export Trade Finance
- Document Checking / Document Examination
- Strong understanding of Trade Finance operational workflows.
- Experience working with SWIFT MT7xx messages and international trade processing.
- Experience collaborating with both Business and Technology teams.
- Hands-on experience in Trade Finance product implementation, configuration, or support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in Corporate Banking digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of:

- ICC Trade Finance Rules
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional Agile teams.
