About Aampere
Join Aampere, a seed-stage, VC-backed startup redefining the European market for used electric vehicles. Since our launch, we’ve enabled EV owners to sell their cars quickly and seamlessly within 48 hours, while giving dealers across Europe access to previously untapped customer segments.Our team comes from the German startup ecosystem, with experience at Autarc, Greenforce, Cardino, Wemolo, Remberg, Alasco, Porsche, Mercedes, and KPMG.
Your Mission
This is a front-row seat to how a startup gets built and run. You are the right hand of our Chief of Staff, Benni, who was employee number one at a YC-backed startup and worked at several top-tier VC-backed startups before Aampere. You sit where the company gets steered: between the founders’ OKRs and the owners who deliver them. You watch how priorities get set and pressure-tested, and you form your own judgment on what actually moves the business.At the same time, you help build the org. We own the People function and are scaling headcount hard, and you own real pieces of that build instead of shadowing from the side. On top of that, you take special projects from idea to done, many of them zero to one, from opening up B2B supply to building our PR and comms. A lot happens ad hoc and decisions land fast, so you bring structure, close gaps and don’t wait to be told. If you want to learn how to operate a startup from the inside, from People to GTM to Strategy to Ops, there are very few better seats.
What you bring
- You’re a generalist who defaults to ownership: you see the gap and close it, and you’re at your best when the path isn’t drawn yet.
- You’re fresh out of a top university with a track record at a leading consultancy or a top-tier startup.
- You operate above your level, and you can prove it.
- You’re fluent in German and English and switch between German partner and candidate communication and an English-speaking team without friction.
You’re available for a six-month, full-time internship and you’re thinking about where this leads, not where it ends. If you’re exceptional, we want you to stay.

- ... you want to work mostly remotely. We believe the best ideas happen when people are in the same room. That’s why you’ll be with us in the office at least four days a week.
- ... you expect ready-made processes and structures. A lot of that doesn’t exist here yet. We’re looking for people who build structures and processes themselves instead of managing them.
- ... you need a finished plan before you get started. Seed stage means a lot is unclear and changes every week. You need to be comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and adjusting along the way.
- ... you want to stay in your lane. “That’s not my job” isn’t something we know. You step in wherever things are on fire, even if it’s outside your job description.
- ... you want a classic 9-to-5 job. We’re building something big, and that doesn’t happen on the side. The people here want to go full throttle, not just clock their hours.
