At Sunlighten, we're not just about infrared saunas, we are on a mission to improve lives through innovative health and wellness solutions. As a global leader in infrared sauna therapy, we are expanding our in-house Marketing team and on the hunt for a Website Operations & Digital Experience Specialist to own the day-to-day execution, publishing, optimization, and operational management of Sunlighten’s digital properties. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing websites, working within content management systems (CMS) and ecommerce platforms, and executing website updates, product launches, and digital marketing campaigns.

Our Website Operations & Digital Experience Specialist will deliver website initiatives that support lead generation, ecommerce growth, and engagement. You will also own execution of the on-site experience: what visitors see and do on Sunlighten’s digital properties, from arrival to conversion.

Celebrating 25 years of innovation, Sunlighten has grown from its Kansas City roots to establish a global footprint, including expansion into the UK. With the global wellness market projected to reach $7 trillion in 2026, we are proud to be part of this dynamic and holistic shift. As leaders in light science and longevity, we create innovative solutions that help customers lead vibrant, active lifestyles.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Website Content & Campaign Management

  • Execute content updates across Sunlighten’s digital properties, including homepage promotions, campaign messaging, blogs, and press releases.
  • Build landing pages and campaign experiences using approved templates and reusable components.
  • Create and update product pages, including content, merchandising, pricing and financing presentation, comparisons, bundles, and cross-sell placements.
  • Update CTAs, forms, navigation, and on-site entry points for chat, SMS opt-in, and call pathways based on the Digital Experience roadmap.
  • Maintain content libraries, templates, product galleries, and digital assets used across the website and by the sales team.

Website & Ecommerce Operations

  • Manage day-to-day website administration, publishing, and promotional updates across the CMS and ecommerce platform.
  • Support timely launches of new products and offers by creating or updating product and campaign experiences.
  • Update the Sunlighten Day Spa website with monthly promotions and ongoing content changes.

AI-Enabled Operations

  • Use AI tools to accelerate website updates, content formatting, publishing, and QA for accessibility and broken links, with human review before publication.
  • Apply a working understanding of how large language models retrieve and summarize information to build pages AI systems can read and cite.
  • Identify repetitive processes and implement practical automations that reduce manual work and developer dependency.

Technical SEO & AI Crawlability

  • Build pages that search engines and AI crawlers can read, with clear heading hierarchy, metadata, structured data, and internal linking.
  • Implement approved SEO and GEO recommendations, including redirects and 404 fixes, from the Content team and agency partners, who own search and AI discoverability strategy.
  • Monitor international sites for technical and performance issues and coordinate fixes with regional partners, who own content for those sites.
  • Escalate backend, architecture, or integration work to developers.

Website Optimization, Personalization & QA

  • QA all website changes before publishing for accuracy, functionality, links, forms, brand consistency, and desktop and mobile display.
  • Build, configure, QA, and launch approved A/B tests and personalized experiences, and maintain testing and personalization documentation.
  • Build and maintain promotional pop-ups and approved chat experiences.
  • Confirm with the Business Analyst, who owns GA4, GTM, and Ketch consent configuration, that tracking is in place before launch.
  • CRO and personalization strategy, audience definition, and analysis remain with Digital Experience leadership and Marketing Analytics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Creative, Content, Growth, Lifecycle, Product Marketing, Marketing Analytics, the Business Analyst, developers, and agencies to deliver website initiatives on schedule.
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend improvements that speed up launches.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of hands-on website operations, ecommerce, or digital experience execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with headless CMS and ecommerce platforms, plus A/B testing or personalization tools.
  • Working understanding of website structure, on-page SEO, structured data, and how search engines and AI crawlers interpret content. Google Search Console experience preferred, not required.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple projects and deadlines, with a demonstrated ability to use AI tools responsibly.
