Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care while supporting clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in a professional and empathetic manner
Manage front desk operations including check-in/check-out processes
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with clear and professional communication
Assist patients with basic information regarding services, procedures, and clinic policies
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the EMR system
Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Support administrative tasks such as documentation, referrals, and follow-ups
Qualifications:
Previous front desk or patient-facing experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Demonstrated ability to show empathy and professionalism when dealing with distressed or urgent patient situations
Basic knowledge and navigation of EMR/EHR systems (any platform)
Completed HIPAA awareness training or willingness to undergo training
