A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Assembler 3 at MKS, you will partner with multiple functional groups including Quality, Technical Operations, and Engineering to execute your daily job functions as an assembler on the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of Manufacturing and Operations. You Will Make an Impact By: Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic, Electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units Makes set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications May be responsible for testing equipment and products Skills You Bring: 2+ years of related experience required Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred Requires production experience in electro-mechanical assembly, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, ability to work from established drawings, and experience in soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing Preferred Skills: Mechanical Assembly experience Electromechanical Assembly experience Ability to follow written instructions Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
