Position Summary This nursing position involves providing patient care, monitoring health conditions, giving medications, and helping patients manage their healthcare needs. Key Responsibilities Perform direct and indirect nursing services, including obtaining and documenting patients’ temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician or authorized healthcare provider orders and applicable policies and regulations. Perform a variety of technical nursing tasks to support the health and well-being of patients. Monitor patients’ conditions and communicate significant changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Direct and coordinate the activities of direct-care staff on the assigned unit. Prepare, organize, and distribute medications on the unit in accordance with established medication administration procedures. Provide patient education and support regarding health, medications, treatments, and care plans. Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and records. Follow established infection-control, safety, and patient-care standards.
