What You’ll Do
- Lead the Housekeeping team to ensure every guest enjoys a spotless stay; from perfectly made rooms to pristine public and back-of-house areas.
- Keep standards sky-high by training the team on all Housekeeping SOPs, making sure they’re followed consistently.
- Coach, motivate, and develop your team, creating an environment where they feel proud of their work and supported in their growth.
- Set clear objectives for the team to ensure the smooth, efficient, and high-quality cleaning of all hotel spaces.
- Carry out regular inspections and spot-checks of guest rooms and public areas to maintain The Hoxton’s standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Build strong relationships with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
- Take a proactive approach to improving systems, processes, and efficiencies in the department.
- Take ownership of health and safety procedures, ensuring all Housekeeping team members are fully trained and compliant.
- Participate in crisis and fire team responsibilities, understanding all emergency protocols.
- Keep a close eye on budgets, expenses, and labour costs; finding smart ways to stay within targets without compromising on quality.
- Oversee Housekeeping stock levels and ordering, ensuring supplies are well managed and waste is minimized.
- Collaborate on department projects and contribute ideas that evolve the Housekeeping team and enhance overall operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors, ensuring service quality and reliability.

- Previous experience in a similar role.

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience of Micros Fidelio Opera or a similar front desk operating system.
