Job Title: Teacher of the Visually Impaired Pay Range: $40-$45/hourly Job Description: Teacher of the Visually Impaired | Up to $45/hour | Winston-Salem, NC | Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year Position Details Full Time, 1.0 FTE Starting at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year, for the entire school year What You’ll Do Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments in alignment with their IEPs Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments to guide instructional planning Adapt materials into accessible formats such as braille, large print, and tactile graphics Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student access and success Support development of independence, assistive technology use, and compensatory skills What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited college or university in Special Education or related field.
