Position description – Tasks, Responsibilities, Competencies Preparing and running the blasting equipment for optimal performance. Loading and unloading materials from blasting cabinet/booth. Must be able to hold a high-pressure hose for several hours. Fill hopper with glass bead blasting material. Identify and resolve issues with basting equipment. Keep work area clean and organized. Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task. Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminium, Steel & Stainless Steel. Computer skill for entering production. Ability to training others on how to use equipment. Ability to lift heavy items manually or using a hoist. (5 to 50lbs) Candidate must be a dedicated team player. Candidate must be reliable. Bead blasters must follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment such as respirators, gloves, steel-toes boots, eye and ear protection, helmets with an adequate air supply.
