BM Caterers is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our dynamic team in London, United Kingdom. In this role, you'll be the heart of our coffee bar experience, crafting exceptional beverages and creating memorable interactions with our valued customers. - Prepare and serve high-quality coffees, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care, ensuring consistency and excellence in every cup
- Welcome customers with genuine warmth and provide professional, attentive service in a fast-paced environment
- Share detailed menu knowledge and support customers with allergen awareness and dietary information to meet their individual needs
- Maintain the coffee bar in an organized, clean, and visually appealing condition at all times
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies efficiently, and communicate stock needs to the team in a timely manner
- Process transactions accurately using the till system and handle payments with integrity and attention to detail
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and support colleagues as needed, fostering a positive work environment
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences that reflect BM Caterers' commitment to quality and service excellence
- Adapt flexibly to changing priorities and peak service periods while maintaining high standards and composure
- Analyze customer feedback and preferences to continuously improve service delivery and beverage offerings

- Authentic passion for coffee, beverages, and creating exceptional customer experiences
- Proven ability to remain confident, efficient, and organized in busy, high-pressure service environments

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout your shift
- Knowledge of allergen awareness and dietary requirements to serve customers safely and responsibly
- Capability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial integrity
- Previous experience in a barista, coffee shop, or customer service role (preferred)
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso extraction, and beverage service (preferred)
- Familiarity with till systems and payment processing technology (preferred)
- Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required by operational needs (preferred)
