Description
Senior Fullstack Engineer joins the team at Gigs to build the Connect service for checkout and subscription management.
This role involves working on both frontend and backend systems with next-generation tools such as Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
The candidate takes complete ownership from planning through implementation to shipping and optimizing each feature.
The position requires clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Design and develop new features for the consumer-facing hosted checkout and subscription management service.
Work with modern technologies including Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
Collaborate closely with the UI/UX team to create user friendly interfaces.
Take full ownership of features from planning and implementation to deployment and improvement.
Provide code reviews, offer feedback and share ideas with colleagues.
Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams using established communication methods.
Requirements
Advanced experience in building web applications using React and TypeScript.
At least 5 years of professional development experience.
Strong grasp of Next.js and proficiency in both common and advanced React patterns.
Experience working with Git and delivering scalable applications.
Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and relevant backend technologies.
Familiarity with Docker, GCP, GitHub Actions, Cypress, and Testing Library is a plus.
Ability to contribute ideas to improve the overall user experience.
