As a Senior Software Engineer at ICON, you will design and develop innovative software solutions that enhance our clinical operations and research processes. What You Will Do: Your experience in software development and engineering will be key in delivering high-quality outcomes and mentoring colleagues. Key responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software applications to support clinical trial operations and data management. Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Participating in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high standards of software quality. Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, contributing to continuous improvement of development processes. Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve software functionality. Your Profile: You will have a strong foundation in software development and engineering, with the experience to work independently and guide others. Required qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline Significant experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and database technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Willingness to travel as required (approximately 15%) Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
