Job Description Extrusion Machine Operator Amcor – Mundelein, IL 60060 Pay: $22–$27/hour based on experience Night shift premium: Additional $1.00/hour Bonus: $1,000 referral Schedule: 2-2-3, 12 hour schedule on days, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM, or nights 6:00 PM-6:00 AM. (Must be available to work weekends and Holidays) Amcor is hiring Extrusion Operators to set up, run, and support extrusion machines in our Mundelein manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on production role for candidates with machine operation experience or strong mechanical aptitude. What You’ll Do Set up and run extrusion machines to meet production standards Perform quality checks and document results Troubleshoot basic equipment issues Record production data and maintain clean work areas Assist with machine maintenance Must Have Machine operator, manufacturing, production, packaging, printing, or web handling experience Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
