With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements. We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Manager Financial Control and Accounting Services. This role will report to the Executive Manager Financial Control and Accounting Services. A bit about your role As the Manager Financial Control & Accounting Services, you will provide financial control, governance and accounting leadership across nbn’s Capital Programs portfolio. Working closely with Commercial Finance, Project Delivery and broader Finance teams, you will help ensure financial outcomes are accurately reflected in management reporting, forecasting and statutory reporting processes. Your ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful insights will support informed decision-making, performance assessment and investment outcomes across the business. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining a strong control environment and ensuring accounting integrity throughout the capital program lifecycle. You will bring a strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and how they apply within contemporary finance and accounting environments, along with experience working across large teams and shared service models. You are a collaborative and trusted business partner who builds strong relationships and influences confidently across diverse stakeholder groups. With a naturally curious and analytical mindset, you thrive in complex environments, adapt to changing priorities and use critical thinking to solve problems and deliver value. Your focus on continuous improvement, governance excellence and shared success enables you to create positive outcomes for both your stakeholders and the broader organisation. Application Process You may find that your experience does not match every requirement listed but, if this role has piqued your interest or resonates with where you are in your career, we encourage you to apply rather than self-select out.
