Work Shift Day (United States of America) Wellstar Health System is the largest health system in Georgia, providing care through a network of 11 hospitals, over 250 outpatient locations, and a wide range of specialized services. Our hospitals are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by highly trained critical care teams, providing expert care in areas such as intensive care, trauma, neurology, cardiology, and respiratory support. With Wellstar’s comprehensive network, patients have access to top-tier care, wherever they are in Georgia. Wellstar Medical Group is seeking an inpatient Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Wellstar Pulmonary Medicine. Wellstar Pulmonary Medicine is a well-established 60+ physician practice with offices throughout the Metro Atlanta area and integration with all Wellstar Hospitals. The practice includes all aspects of pulmonary medicine, including critical care, sleep medicine, outpatient pulmonary, interventional pulmonary, pulmonary rehab, and clinical research. This position: 100% Inpatient Pulmonary 7 total shifts in a 2-week pay period. Six 12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm) and one 8-hour shift (7am-3pm) No nights or call Weekend requirement is one out of four weekends Job requirements include collaborating with physicians attending to complete inpatient rounding, assisting with new consults and perform bedside procedures On the job procedure training provided – thoracentesis and potential for chest tube placement Covers four hospitals: Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Cobb Hospital in Austell, Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, and Paulding Hospital in Hiram Requirements: Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant Experience preferred, but new graduates welcome to apply Active or eligible for a GA State Medical License We proudly offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, vision insurance Occurrence-based malpractice coverage Short-term and long-term disability insurance Life insurance 403(b) with employer match CME allowance Extended illness bank Paid time off for vacation Concierge service Adoption assistance We’d like to invite you on a career journey like no other!
