WHAT YOU WILL DO (WHEN THE TIME COMES): Support the design and development of utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects. Review engineering reports, site data, and project requirements to develop civil and structural design solutions. Create and review preliminary designs for foundations, grading, roads, and erosion control. Partner with estimating, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate and constructible project designs. Collaborate with clients, Engineers of Record, and project teams throughout design and construction. Provide technical guidance to support successful project execution and continuous improvement initiatives. WHAT WE LOOK FOR: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. 6+ years of engineering and/or construction experience preferred, ideally in solar, renewable energy, power generation, or infrastructure projects. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Knowledge of civil and structural design principles, construction drawings, and applicable codes and standards. Experience with foundation, grading, drainage, and site development design. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; L-Pile experience is a plus. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR and willingness to travel up to 15% as needed. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
