DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow Environmental, Health and Safety system guidelines.
- Ensure active involvement in the safety process by all team members.
- Proactive in identifying and addressing unsafe conditions
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment to meet or exceed company established KPI expectations and customer quality expectations
- Promote and participate in good housekeeping habits to ensure plant appearance exceeds management and customer expectations while meeting required 5s guidelines.
- Supervise Delivery System Leads (DSL), Control Room Engineers (CRE), and AGV Technicians to meet company expectations in Safety, Quality and Productivity.
- Ensure the Performance Management system is fully utilized, and corporate HR processes are followed explicitly
- Build a work environment of respect, inclusion, open communication and teamwork.
- Develop a culture of participative continuous improvement and develop initiatives to improve operations.
- Communicate problems, solutions/proposed solutions to problems, progress reports, and continuous improvement ideas to management staff, maintenance, and production personnel as needed
- Ensuring root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CA) for delivery system impacts to customer performance rating (PR) are performed, shared, and followed up on in the required timelines
- Proactive in addressing inefficiencies of equipment.
- Develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Ability to work with fellow employees, customers, vendors and/or contractors as required.
- Perform tasks as outlined or assigned by Supply Chain Manager
- Participates in the assessment of crew capabilities working with the Supply Chain Manager and Human Resources to enhance skill set of the group.
- Assist in the hiring and training process of new staff
COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years relevant experience in department supervisor role or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills including verbal written and electronic.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical and sometimes complex topics in an understandable manner
- Ability to quickly learn computer systems to monitor equipment activities and troubleshoot issues
- Good working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office and SAP
