This isn't your typical delivery driver role. While you'll safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle, approximately 80% of this position is focused on customer service and relationship building. You'll be successful if you have: A passion for providing exceptional customer service Strong communication and relationship-building skills A friendly, professional attitude and a customer-first mindset The ability to work independently while representing Gordon Food Service Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Valid Class A CDL at the time of hire Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to safely perform job duties Successfully pass a DOT drug screen (including marijuana) and background check Clean driving record that meets DOT and Gordon Food Service standards Registered with the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and able to provide electronic consent Gordon Food Service proudly encourages veterans and active military members to apply.
