Position Overview
We’re seeking an AI Engineer to develop, optimize, and deploy artificial intelligence models and systems to solve complex problems and enhance business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- AI & Machine Learning Development: Design, construct, and deploy machine learning models to solve real-world business problems.
- Data Processing: Clean, preprocess, and transform large datasets to ensure high-quality inputs for model training and validation.
- Model Evaluation & Tuning: Evaluate model performance, optimize algorithms, and fine-tune hyperparameters for optimal accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and product managers to align AI solutions with business objectives.
- Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and incorporate them into projects to drive innovation.
- Testing & Validation: Ensure that machine learning models are thoroughly tested and validated, addressing any issues related to accuracy, scalability, or deployment.
- Documentation: Document the processes, methodologies, and results clearly and ensure that models are well-documented for maintainability and future enhancements.
- Client Interaction: On occasion, present findings and results to clients in a clear and actionable way, assisting them in understanding how AI solutions drive value.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Solid experience (2+ years) in machine learning or AI development, with hands-on knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Strong programming skills in Python (or other relevant languages) and experience with machine learning libraries.
- Knowledge of data preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, and data pipeline development.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and tools for deploying machine learning models.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and statistical methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work with complex datasets.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a collaborative team and with clients.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specialized AI areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for machine learning projects.
- Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations for clients, explaining complex technical concepts in an easily understandable manner.
