Dura-Line is hiring for a Shipping Technician in Elyria, OH at our Sugar Lane location.
SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:15pm
About the Role: This role handles shipping requirements for the plant including coordinating drivers, deliveries and pickups. Performs inventory control, provides weekly, monthly and yearly cycle count for plant and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate outgoing shipments, including processing and printing bills of lading and related paperwork.
Receive goods in SAP with appropriate documentation and storage.
Examine outgoing shipments for defects.
Assemble and package products and materials.
Insert items into containers using spacers, fillers, and padding as needed.
Adhere, stamp, glue, and label shipping information and instructions on boxes, reels, containers, and documentation.
Maintain a neat work area and shipping yard in accordance with 5S+2 standards.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or distribution environment.
Basic computer skills and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
Knowledge of warehouse systems, including shipping and receiving, FIFO, cycle counting, and inventory control.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Work is performed in plant, warehouse, forklift, and office environments.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
May be exposed to weather and noise.
Personal protective equipment is required.

Our Offer:
The compensation for this position is typically start at $20-25/Hour.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
