Chief Financial Officer - GE Aerospace Materials.

LEADERSHIPFINANCE & LEGAL
Job Description Summary At GE Aerospace, we are advancing the future of flight through innovation, operational excellence, and deep customer partnership. The Chief Financial Officer for GE Aerospace Materials (GEAM) is a critical senior finance leader responsible for the overall financial performance of our Used Serviceable Material (USM) business, including ownership of the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow. This role is both strategic and operational. The GEAM CFO partners closely with the General Manager and cross-functional leadership team to drive profitable growth, evaluate strategic opportunities, strengthen operating performance, and ensure disciplined financial management across the business. The role requires strong commercial acumen, an understanding of aerospace customer and channel dynamics, and the ability to proactively interpret market signals to help the business act with speed and rigor. The ideal candidate brings a combination of finance leadership, business judgment, thought leadership, and market insight. This person understands the business models and decision drivers of key industry participants — including airlines, MROs, lessors, and brokers — and can translate those insights into actions that improve competitiveness, profitability, and long-term value creation. In addition, the GEAM CFO will foster a culture of compliance, controllership, accountability, and continuous improvement, while leading and developing a team of finance and accounting professionals. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Lead the full financial performance of the GE Aerospace Materials business, including ownership of the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Partner with the GEAM General Manager and leadership team to shape strategy, support execution, and deliver strong business outcomes. Serve as a strategic advisor to the business by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities across the aerospace materials and USM market. Apply strong commercial finance expertise and understanding of customer business models — including airlines, MROs, lessors, and brokers — to inform strategic and operational decisions. Proactively assess market signals, supply-demand dynamics, and competitive activity to help the business respond effectively and act opportunistically. Lead business case development, financial modeling, and investment analysis for engine, module, and material acquisition opportunities. Partner on capital allocation decisions, ensuring investments are evaluated with financial discipline and aligned to strategic priorities. Drive improvements in profitability, cash flow, and working capital performance across the business. Support value creation and cost-out opportunities through effective use of USM in internal and external commercial arrangements. Provide high-quality financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis to enable timely, data-driven decisions. Lead operating plan, quarterly forecast, and long-range planning processes. Ensure the highest standards of controllership, compliance, and financial integrity. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team, while fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture. Drive simplification and continuous improvement across financial and operational processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Significant experience in finance and accounting, including roles of increasing leadership scope and business partnership responsibility. Demonstrated experience leading financial performance for a business, product line, or operating segment. Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions in a dynamic, market-facing environment. Experience with financial modeling, business case development, and investment analysis. Understanding of capital allocation principles and financial decision-making. Ability to interpret external market dynamics and translate them into actionable business insight. This position is based in Dallas, Texas. Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, aviation, materials, services, or a similarly complex industrial business. Understanding of the aerospace used parts or used serviceable material market. Experience supporting or working with customers and channels such as airlines, MROs, lessors, and brokers. Strong background in accounting, corporate finance, and operational finance. CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred. Proven success working across a matrixed organization and partnering with senior leaders. Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to distill complex financial information into clear business recommendations. Demonstrated people leadership experience, including talent development and team building. Leadership Profile The successful candidate will bring: A strategic mindset with strong business and financial judgment A proactive, forward-looking approach to market and business opportunity The ability to balance long-term value creation with near-term operating performance A collaborative and inclusive leadership style Strong problem-solving capability and sound decision-making under complexity A deep commitment to integrity, compliance, and controllership GE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
