About the Position
The General Manager will have full operational and financial ownership of the Pensacola branch. This leader will be responsible for managing the P&L, driving revenue and EBITDA growth, developing new business, overseeing day-to-day operations, and building a high-performing team.
The branch has an established foundation, and the objective is to bring in a proven leader who can take ownership, identify opportunities, and accelerate growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the branch P&L, revenue, EBITDA, and overall financial performance.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and market share.
- Lead business development and strengthen relationships with commercial clients, property owners, insurance partners, and referral sources.
- Oversee daily restoration and reconstruction operations.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team.
- Establish accountability for production, customer service, profitability, and operational performance.
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations.
- Build upon the existing operation while identifying new markets and revenue opportunities.
- Serve as the senior leader and primary representative of the branch.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in disaster restoration or a closely related industry.
- Progressive leadership experience with increasing operational responsibility.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and financial management experience.
- Proven track record of growing a restoration operation, branch, or similar service business.
- Strong business development and relationship-management skills.
- Experience hiring, developing, and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of restoration operations, project management, and customer service.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and make sound business decisions.
- Strong financial, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic growth initiatives with day-to-day operational execution.
