What You'll Do
Application Architecture & Design:
- Design and implement scalable solutions that support the continued evolution of our proprietary LMS.
- Modernize existing application architecture and engineering patterns where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Partner with technology leadership to establish development standards and best practices.
- Contribute to long-term technical strategy and architectural direction.
Software Development & Modernization:
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software across the application stack.
- Build new capabilities that support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Refactor and enhance existing functionality to improve scalability and sustainability.
- Develop secure, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across production and development environments.
Platform Reliability & Engineering Excellence:
- Participate in code reviews and drive engineering quality standards.
- Improve application monitoring, testing, and deployment practices.
- Support CI/CD and automation initiatives.
- Help reduce technical debt while improving overall platform health.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Contribute technical expertise during planning, estimation, and design discussions.
- Share knowledge and mentor engineers through collaboration and code reviews.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.
- Serve as a trusted technical resource across the organization.
Must Have Qualifications
Software Architecture & Engineering Expertise:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and building enterprise-scale applications.
- Experience modernizing legacy or home-grown software platforms.
- Experience developing and supporting high-availability production systems.
- Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design.
Full-Stack Development & Engineering Practices:
Strong experience with:
- .NET
- C#
- Microsoft SQL Server
- React/Angular – React preferred
- TypeScript
- REST APIs
- Azure Cloud Services
Experience with:
- AI-Assisted Development
- Entity Framework
- Event-Driven & Microservice Architecture

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you will be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job is $160,000.00 to $220,000.00. Individual salaries within those ranges take into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; knowledge and skill sets; and other business and organizational needs.
