As Technology Application Expert in our FLEX product line, you connect customer applications with product development and turn complex technical requirements into valuable product features. Working closely with Product Management, Application Engineering, and R&D, you help bring new solutions from concept to successful application in a highly innovative semiconductor environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze customer use cases and translate application requirements into technically feasible product features
- Collaborate with Product Management and R&D on feature definitions, priorities, and technical implementation
- Drive the development, validation, and rollout of application-related features
- Prepare, validate, and support technical demonstrations for customers
- Evaluate new features in realistic application scenarios and ensure their technical robustness
- Serve as a key interface between customers, on-site teams, Product Management, and Engineering
- Support complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product performance optimization
- Bring structured customer and application insights into product roadmap and continuous improvement activities
- Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least three years of relevant technical experience, ideally in the semiconductor industry
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes; experience with electron-beam, lithography, metrology, inspection, or optical systems is an advantage
- Experience working with R&D teams and translating customer needs into engineering requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and data-driven approach
- Experience in technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, or performance optimization
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics to different audiences
- Customer-focused, collaborative, and proactive mindset; international experience is an advantage

With us you will receive an attractive annual gross salary from 60.000 € (plus bonus, KV Metallgewerbe). Depending on your experience, this can also be higher.
