To provide quality patient care to postpartum women, newborns and their families.
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
- Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.
- Breastfeeding certificate required.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification required.
- Perinatal Nursing Certificate an asset.
- Venipuncture and I.V. therapy skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with families.
- Demonstrated ability to support the breastfeeding woman.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required.
4 Positions
Hours of Work: Monday to Sunday, various rotating 12 hour shifts (Hours subject to changed based on operational needs)
Salary: $36.81 to $39.80 per hour
