Berman Kia is seeking motivated and enthusiastic experienced technicians to join our dynamic and growing service team!
Location: Lincolnwood, IL
Schedule: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Pay Scale: $20.50 - $47.50/HR (Based on Experience, ASE Certifications, and/or Training)
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Work on complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and suspension work.
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are performed according to brand standards and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to continue advancing technical skills and obtain higher certifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
- Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in an automotive repair setting required.
- ASE Certifications
- Enthusiasm for learning and hands-on technical work is essential.
- Understanding of automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, brakes).
- Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and take direction from senior technicians.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
