Key Responsibilities Functions & Events • Coordinate and oversee private functions, events and group bookings from setup through to pack down • Liaise with clients to ensure event requirements and expectations are met • Work closely with kitchen, bar and management teams to deliver seamless functions and service • Ensure function spaces are presented to Astrolabe Brew Bar standards • Support the growth and success of the venue’s functions offering Operations & Leadership • Lead, train and motivate front-of-house teams • Deliver exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences • Manage busy service periods and late-night trade • Handle customer feedback and enquiries professionally • Support staff development and venue culture initiatives Compliance & Administration • Complete opening and closing procedures • Cash handling and end-of-day reporting • Maintain health & safety and licensing compliance • Assist with staffing, stock control and operational procedures What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership role • Proven experience coordinating functions or large group bookings • Strong leadership and communication skills • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment • Passion for hospitality, events and customer experience • Current LCQ qualification and Duty Manager Certificate essential • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays Make your career one to remember at Aus Venue Co.
