Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the site's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, VPN, and related network equipment. Ensure stable and reliable operation of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet, and inter-site network connectivity. Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and utilization, and proactively identify potential issues. Design and implement network solutions based on business and manufacturing requirements. Skills and Qualifications: 2 years of experience in Network engineer jobs. Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of networking concepts such as OSI model, TCP/IP protocol suite, subnetting, IP addressing, routing, and switching. Networking Devices: Familiarity with networking devices like routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN appliances, and understanding their functionalities and configurations. Network Protocols: Knowledge of common network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, etc. Network Security: Understanding of common security threats and attack vectors, as well as knowledge of security measures such as firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), encryption techniques, etc. Routing and Switching: Proficiency in routing protocols (e.g., RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and switching protocols (e.g., STP, VTP, EtherChannel), and ability to configure and manage routers and switches. Network Monitoring: Ability to use network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, Zabbix) to monitor network traffic, health, and performance, and perform troubleshooting and optimization.
