Job Description: Position available: Full-time faculty member at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor rank Qualifications required: M.D. and/or Ph.D., with research interests in general medicine (primary care, hospital medicine, or palliative care) Institution: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Boston — a major teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS) Location: Research offices in Brookline, MA Clinical practice at BIDMC, 0.8 mi away Section’s five core research programs: Brain health and aging Cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic health Integrative whole health/mind-body medicine Patient-centered digital health Shared decision-making Research Section faculty: 16 M.D. and Ph.D. investigators who conduct research, pursue external funding, and mentor students and fellows, including in Harvard's general medicine and integrative medicine fellowship programs. Pay Range: $80,000 - $400,000 The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
