Hypertherm Associates' Technical Training Institute (HTTI) will guide you as you learn the valuable trade of CNC Machine Operation through a US Department of Labor approved Apprenticeship Program. The CNC Fundamentals course through HTTI is approximately 4 weeks long on 1st shift, from 7am to 3:30pm. Additional training may take place on 1st shift as well prior to the start of the class depending on schedule and business needs. As a CNC Machine Operator, working with your team members, you will produce machined parts for our plasma cutting systems through machining, assembly, and packaging tasks in an assigned manufacturing area, using standard work instructions. Some additional benefits of joining the CNC Fundamentals Course: Career Progression: There are 5 levels of Machine Operator which follow 2 different tracks (Technical and Mastery), with opportunities to pursue additional technical training through HTTI or to master the skill of machine operating from a competency standpoint Continuing Education: HTTI has partnered with University of Phoenix, and the CNC Fundamentals course is eligible for up to 40 credits towards an Associate's Degree.
