- Manage PCB layout projects from design to manufacturing release.
- Design high-density server and power management PCBs with more than 28 layers.
- Develop and maintain PCB footprints, stack-ups, routing, and design constraints.
- Lead projects, mentor layout engineers, and coordinate schedules.
- Review designs and prepare manufacturing files to ensure quality and manufacturability.
- Work with engineering and cross-functional teams, PCB vendors, and assembly partners to resolve DFM/DFA issues.
PCB Design Expertise
- Experience with server PCBs 28+ layers, high-speed routing, power distribution, and high-density BGA routing.
- Strong knowledge of multi-stage HDI, blind/buried vias, five-level stacked microvias, and advanced stack-ups.
- Power electronics or power management PCB experience is preferred.
Manufacturing Knowledge
- Knowledge of backdrilling, cavity design, manufacturing capabilities, design rules, and process limits.
- Understanding of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, and DFM/DFA.
Tools
- Proficient in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer and OrCAD Capture.
- Altium Designer experience is a plus.
Leadership and Communication
- Experience leading projects and mentoring PCB layout engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex layout projects independently.
- Good English communication skills for working with global teams and vendors.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
