Job Description Saint Luke’s North Hospital is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist (Clinical Lab Scientist, Medical Technologist) to join our lab team. Our laboratory is equipped with advanced instrumentation, operating on the Sysmex XN1000, Stago Compact Max, Atellica, GEM, UN2000, and Echo. The laboratory staff have a window view and flexible 12-hour shift scheduling.   The Work: PRN - 12 hour shifts from 6 to 6:30, day and night. Performs accurate and reliable analyses on a variety of patient samples. Recognizes technical, instrument or clinical correlation problems, identifying causes and evaluating alternative solutions Confirms and verifies laboratory results utilizing in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments Correlates and interprets data based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results Establishes and monitors quality assurance programs Participates in performance improvement programs Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree Less than 1 year of lab experience ASCP Certified (new graduates required to pass certification board exam within 9 months of hire) Job Requirements Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Bachelor's Degree Job Details PRN Swing (United States of America) Saint Luke’s Health System includes 18 hospitals and campuses across the Kansas City region, home care and hospice, behavioral health care, dozens of physician practices, a life care senior living community, and more.
